CARSON CITY, NV – Two sisters were killed in a crash on Sunday night at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Saliman Rd. in Carson City on Monday.
According to Sheriff Ken Furlong say a suspect vehicle crashed into a small SUV while attempting to flee from deputies at around 4 a.m.
The two individuals killed in the crash were passengers in the suspect vehicle, and a third passenger and the driver were transported to Renown. Furlong stated that the third passenger is in critical condition, while the driver of the SUV was also taken to Renown, with an unknown condition. Three other individuals were injured in the crash, but their condition is unknown at this time.
At around 4:30 a.m., the Nevada Department of Transportation announced the road had been cleared and reopened.
