Narrative
RENO, NV – Two drivers were hospitalized last Sunday afternoon following a wrong-way collision along a busy roadway in east Reno.
The incident happened just after noon on Veterans Parkway near Clean Water Way, which is just north of Hidden Valley and southwest of Sparks Wastewater Treatment.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a northbound vehicle travelled over the median and into the southbound lanes of Veterans Parkway, colliding with a southbound vehicle.
Medics transported both drivers to the hospital, one in critical condition and the other with minor injuries.
A full investigation is underway to determine what might have caused the northbound driver to lose control of their vehicle.
