LAS VEGAS, NV – A female rollerblader went to the hospital with serious injuries Friday evening after a vehicle struck her at a busy Las Vegas intersection.
The collision occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Pebble Road and Las Vegas Boulevard, which is east of I-15 and south of East Windmill Lane.
Police say the rollerblader was observed to enter the intersection against traffic. The vehicle that struck her, a BMW, had a green light at the time of the accident.
The skater sustained critical injuries. The driver of the BMW as not hurt in the accident.
