Narrative
RENO, NV – A motorcyclist died Wednesday after colliding with a vehicle along a busy roadway in southeast Reno.
The incident happened just before 7 p.m. in the area of 9050 Double R Parkway, which is just east of Huffaker Park and near the Goddard School of South Reno.
Police say that the motorcycle rider was headed north on Double R when he collided with the side of a vehicle that was turning left from the southbound side of the road.
The motorcyclist died at the scene of the collision. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity to the public.
Officials say that speed may have been a factor in the accident.
