Narrative
PAHRUMP, NV – A two-vehicle collision along the highway in southeastern Nye County killed a young boy last Friday.
The incident happened around 8:11 p.m. in the area of NV-160 and Homestead Road, which is just southwest of Charleston Peak Winery.
The investigation indicates that a Chevy Tahoe ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a black 2014 Dodge Journey.
Medics transported a juvenile passenger from the Dodge to a local hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
