CHURCHILL CO., NV – One person died Saturday in a major accident involving two semis in northwest Churchill County.
The crash occurred shortly before 4 a.m. on I-80 westbound near Humboldt Lake, which is southwest of Lovelock in the Humboldt State Wildlife Management Area.
Police say that a westbound 18-wheeler collided with another semi-truck that had crashed and overturned along the interstate.
The driver of the semi-truck that struck the overturned semi sustained fatal injuries. Authorities have not yet released their name to the public.
It’s unclear if the other truck driver sustained injuries in the wreck.
