Narrative
LAS VEGAS, NV – A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian Friday night just east of I-15 in south Las Vegas.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. near the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Richmar Avenue, which is just southeast of Antique Mall of America.
The investigation indicates that a southbound SUV struck and killed a pedestrian as they were crossing Las Vegas Boulevard outside of a designated crossing area.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
It’s unclear if the driver of the SUV stopped to render aid or speak to police.
