Narrative
LAS VEGAS, NV – A woman and a child went to the hospital Friday night after a vehicle struck them at a busy Las Vegas intersection.
Police responded to the scene around 9:53 p.m. at the intersection of South Nellis Boulevard and Boulder Highway, which is just north of Franklin Shopping Center.
The investigation indicates that a northbound vehicle had a green light as it entered the intersection and struck a female pedestrian pushing a stroller southbound on Nellis.
Medics transported the woman and child to a local hospital with non-critical injuries.
Authorities do not suspect impairment on the part of the driver.
The investigation is ongoing.
